If you have an interest in sailing, power boating or cruising then the South Caernarvonshire Yacht Club (SCYC) is a club that can help you develop that interest.
Travel to Caernarfon either via the A5 or the A55. From Caernarfon follow the A499 to Pwllheli and thence to Abersoch. As you enter Abersoch you will see the Harbour on your left. The road bears round to the right and into the village. Take Lon Traeth straight up the side of W & G Williams Garage (actually straight ahead of you). At the first car park bear left and take the first right into the second car park. SCYC is found at the far end of the car park on the right. Parking fees are payable to W & G Williams.

Directions For Launching of Dinghies/Motorboats/Jet Skis
Launching of dinghies/motorboats/jet skis should be from the Lon Golff slipway and NOT Lon Traeth slipway. At W & G Williams Garage follow the one way road around to the right and continue through the village until the sign for the Golf Club on the left. Turn left into Lon Golff and go down the hill, where there is ample parking, a designated road trailer park and a suitable launching slipway. Launching permits are required by Gwynedd Council for motorboats and jet skis. Car park fees are payable 24/7, managed by Parking Eye.
